“I am in the creative calligraphy workshop, and today we are making bookmarks. I guess everybody is enjoying it so far. Then we will write journal entries for our scrapbook about our days in Marienthal. So, on Saturday, you will be able to see the work we have created: some poems, pieces of writing, and different types of lettering that we practised in the calligraphy lessons yesterday.
I would say it is more fun because you have to use your creativity and imagination to do it. I like it more because I enjoy doing creative things with my hands. Yesterday was more challenging because we had to write plans, and I had never done that before, so it was something new for me.”
