What do you think about your city?
I think our town is very quiet, small and interesting. There are a lot of fantastic places like parks, the river called Warta with its beach and a recently renovated beautiful market square. Sieradz has a few pleasant pubs , cafes and restaurants, and modern shopping malls.
What do you like about it most?
The best of our city is the square where everybody can meet and talk all night. In the center of the square there is a beautiful fontanne with colorful lights – it looks very impressive!
Why would you recommend a foreigner to visit your town?
In my opinion Sieradz is worth seeing only because of beautiful old tenant houses. We have a rich museum and the history of our city is interesting for sure .
What do you think everybody should know about your town?
I think everybody should know that Sieradz is one of the oldest towns in Poland and that there are really nice people there. The locals are friendly and helpful, a lot of them know each other. The atmosphere is so friendly that everyone should feel at home. Sieradz has lots of attractions such as a famous festival called Open Hair Festival – a tribute to a world-famous hair stylist Antoine Cierplikowski who co-operated with Coco Chanel.
Bartek, Patrycja and Paulina are here for the second time and Kinga for the third.
Why did you want to come here again?
We like this place very much. People are amazing and very friendly. We love coming here. We always learn something new and we get some experience. Only here we meet people from other countries. We have a real fun in St. Marienthal.
How would you recommend this place to others?
Everybody should come here and try this challenge. Everyone will find here something for themselves. The atmosphere is very nice, intercultural evenings are interesting and every day is different and fantastic.
What are you interested in?
Paulina: I like cooking. I`m interested in football.
Kinga: I enjoy meeting friends. I like hanging out with them. In the evenings I love watching films and reading books.
What do you like doing in your free time?
Paulina: In my free time I meet my friends and I listen to a lot of music.
Kinga: If I have free time I just like doing anything. I love sleeping, listening to music and walking with my dogs.
What are your plans in the future?
Paulina: I`m going to study, but don’t know what it will be.
Kinga: I`m not sure what I want to do in the future. I`d like to study or find any job.
Do you remember any funny or interesting stories from your previous stay?
I remember a lot of funny situations from the intercultural evenings . We had a really good laugh.
