What do you think about it?
I think the town has a huge potential which is yet undiscovered.
What do you like about it most?
The best thing about the town is its location, because it is situated in the Sowie Mountains valley. The mountains which are close by make it an attractive tourist destination all year long.
Why would you recommend a foreigner to visit your town?
I’d recommend anyone who likes outdoor activities such as skiing, rock climbing and hiking.
What do you think everybody should know about your town?
Everybody should know that Dzierżoniów has a very long and interesting history and that its inhabitants are very nice and friendly.
Ada been here a few times before and Łukasz has been here for the third time.
Why did you want to come here again?
Ada: I wanted to come here again because I made a lot of great friends here throughout all these years and I’m always very happy to meet them again. I also love seeing young people from all over Europe working together, despite the differences, to create a product which they will be proud of.
Łukasz: I couldn’t wait to meet the people I became friends with during my previous stays here and I also wanted to meet new people and make new friends.
Why would you recommend this place to others?
Ada: I’d recommend this seminar to anyone who is willing to share their passions and ideas with others and who is willing to develop the ideas in a creative way. This is a perfect place for anyone who likes people, is open minded and likes learning about other cultures.
Łukasz: It’s a great possibility to meet different people from all over Europe and test yourself doing different tasks.
Tell us something about yourself.
My name is Ada. I’m 29 years old and I teach English as a foreign language in high school in Dzierżoniów.
My name is Łukasz, I’m 18 and I’m a high school student
What are you interested in?
Ada: I’m interested in developmental psychology and anthropology. I also love to travel, meet new people and learn about other cultures.
Łukasz: I’m interested in biology and medicine.
What do you like doing in your free time?
Ada: I do voluntary work at a children home close to where I live, I also love spending time with my friends, going to concerts, cooking, baking, listening to music and reading
Łukasz: I like meeting friends, going to concerts and festivals, watching horrors.
What are your plans for the future?
Ada: In the future I’d like to travel as much as possible, learn one more foreign language and also start a family, build a house and have a nice life J
Lukasz: I’m planning to study in Germany. First I’d like to go to a nursery school and then I want to study medicine.
Do you remember any funny/interesting stories from your previous stay?
Ada: I remember students and teachers from different countries sitting together in the kitchen in St. Franziscus guest house singing and playing the guitars till early hours. It made me feel great seeing all these people from different walks of life united in singing.
Łukasz: 3 days ago we had to create the characters we were to play in the short film and it was a very interesting experience
